By accessing or using Signal, the Signal App, or any services provided by Signal ("we", "us", or "our"), including the Proof of Progress ("PoP") protocol, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use our services.

2. Description of Service

Signal is a network for verified human progress. Through the Signal App, users can run structured experiments, log evidence, and earn verified Proof of Progress ("PoP") badges and $SGNL reward credits. Signal connects Champions (experiment runners), Pioneers (protocol creators), and Patrons (sponsors) in a decentralized network where personal progress becomes verified proof, meaningful data, and real rewards.

3. Important Disclaimers

Signal and the Signal App are not medical services, healthcare providers, or medical advice platforms. The protocols, compounds, and experimental procedures discussed or available through Signal, including those using the Proof of Progress ("PoP") protocol, are for informational and research purposes only. Nothing on Signal constitutes medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

You must consult with qualified healthcare professionals before starting any protocol, taking any compound, or making any health-related decisions. Do not use Signal, the Signal App, or any protocols available through Signal as a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

EXPERIMENTAL PROTOCOLS

Protocols available through Signal and the Signal App are experimental and unproven. They have not been evaluated by regulatory authorities such as the FDA, EMA, or similar agencies. Many protocols involve compounds and procedures that are:

  • Not approved for human use
  • In early research stages
  • Lacking comprehensive safety data
  • Potentially harmful or contraindicated for certain individuals

You assume all risks associated with running any protocol through Signal or the Signal App.

NO WARRANTIES OR GUARANTEES

Signal and the Signal App are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that:

  • Protocols will be safe or effective
  • Results will be achieved
  • The platform will be error-free or uninterrupted
  • Data will be accurate or complete

We disclaim all warranties, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

4. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Consult with healthcare professionals before starting any protocol
  • Provide accurate and truthful information in your submissions
  • Follow protocol requirements and dosing instructions precisely
  • Monitor your health and discontinue protocols if adverse effects occur
  • Not use Signal or the Signal App for illegal purposes
  • Not share protocols or compounds with others without proper authorization
  • Comply with all applicable laws and regulations

5. Blockchain and Cryptocurrency

Signal uses blockchain technology and may involve cryptocurrency ($SGNL tokens). By using Signal or the Signal App, you acknowledge that:

  • Cryptocurrency values are volatile and may result in financial loss
  • Blockchain transactions are irreversible
  • You are responsible for securing your wallet and private keys
  • We are not responsible for loss of tokens due to user error, hacking, or technical issues
  • Regulatory treatment of tokens may change

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, you agree that Signal, the Signal App, and their affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for:

  • Any health issues, injuries, or adverse effects from running protocols
  • Financial losses related to $SGNL tokens or rewards
  • Loss of data or privacy breaches
  • Indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
  • Any damages exceeding the amount you paid to us in the past 12 months

7. Intellectual Property

Protocols, content, and materials on Signal and the Signal App are owned by their respective creators or licensors. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without authorization. Proof of Progress ("PoP") badges and verification records are your property once minted.

8. Verification and Evidence

Verification of protocol runs is performed by AI Oracle systems and/or Pioneers. We reserve the right to:

  • Reject submissions that don't meet evidence requirements
  • Revoke badges if fraud or misrepresentation is discovered
  • Modify verification criteria at any time

9. Modifications to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of Signal or the Signal App after changes constitutes acceptance. We will notify users of material changes via email or platform notification.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to Signal or the Signal App at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason. You may stop using Signal or the Signal App at any time.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Signal operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.
